2025 Teacher Workshop

This year's Teacher Workshop presented by Northampton County Conservation District focused on School and Backyard Conservation. Topics included stormwater management, composting, and instruction on how to construct a rain barrel. The District partnered with Penn State Extension Master Gardeners and Master Watershed Stewards for the afternoon programs, and staff took attendees on a morning field trip to see various stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) around the county.
