2025 Teacher Workshop
This year's Teacher Workshop presented by Northampton County Conservation District will focus on School and Backyard Conservation. Check out the resources below to register for the upcoming workshop on October 23, 2025, at the Charles Chrin Community Center. Refreshments, lunch, and a rain barrel will be provided! Join us to learn more about how you and your school can include conservation in the classroom.

Workshop Topics
Stormwater
The beginning of the day will consist of field trips to various stormwater controls in the county that your school may have already implemented, and ideas for what you can do in your own backyard!
Composting
Enjoy a composting video and presentation over lunch to learn about how you can make a difference in the classroom and at home by reducing or reusing food waste.
Rain Barrels
Learn hands-on methods to make your own rain barrel, why rain barrels are important, and how they can help save you money in the long run.
